Another meeting of the accreditation board of the Ministry of Education and Science took place on October 25, 2023. Following this meeting, a series of decisions were made concerning the accreditation of highly qualified personnel:

• Approval (cancellation) of decisions regarding the awarding of academic titles of professor, associate professor, senior researcher.
• Awarding academic degrees of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy.

Additionally, discussions were held regarding the formation of specialized academic councils for awarding a Doctor of Sciences degree and the creation of a list of scientific professional publications in Ukraine.

A separate issue addressed was the deprivation of academic degrees due to violations of academic integrity. The Ministry of Education and Science received decisions from the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education concerning the identification of academic plagiarism in the defended dissertations of two individuals in 2021, for the award of academic degrees of Doctor of Sciences and Candidate of Sciences. Based on the decision of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and the opinions of experts, the accreditation board of the Ministry of Education and Science made the decision to strip these individuals of their academic degrees and recognize their diplomas as invalid.
