In connection with the terrorist attacks of the Russian Federation on electricity generation, the Competition for scientific works and projects funded by the EU program "Horizon 2020" has been extended until 23:59 on April 22, 2024.
We will remind that on March 14, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced the holding of the second competitive selection of scientific works and projects funded by the EU program "Horizon 2020".

Documents for the competition are submitted in the electronic module of the National Scientific Information System "URIS"

Project proposals cover such thematic areas as:

• infrastructure projects for the development of TsKKNO;
• research scientific and technical works and projects;
• joint innovative projects with business and higher education institutions/universities;
• scientific and technical projects that require the development of feasibility studies for own innovative developments

The main innovations of the Competition:

• increasing the volume of support for innovative projects and the development of the innovative ecosystem of higher education institutions/universities;
• expansion of the circle of participants: Ukrainian participants of the "Horizon Europe" program will be able to fully participate in the competitive selection;
• giving preference to participants who, in case of winning the competition, plan to submit a new application for funding under the "Horizon Europe" program;

providing benefits to projects:

• in the composition of the author's team there are more young scientists;
• that will have a direct impact on the reconstruction and restoration of Ukraine in the post-war period;
• which involves scientists who, starting in 2014, after a long stay abroad, returned and officially found employment in Ukraine;
• free planning of research stages, without strict binding to the completion of annual budget periods.
