Last week, the ORCID Board approved the extension of free membership for the Ukrainian consortium for an additional two years, until 2027. This decision ensures stable support for Ukrainian researchers in using the ORCID platform, integrating research data, and enhancing the transparency of scientific publications.

In response to numerous questions from consortium members regarding the use of ORCID, integration of identifiers into institutional workflows, and the development of the national consortium, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine is organizing an online meeting.

During the event, participants will be able to:

• Receive consultations on using ORCID and managing research profiles;
  
• Discuss the integration of ORCID with research processes and digital repositories;
  
• Learn about the plans for developing the National Consortium and new opportunities for Ukrainian researchers.
  

The speakers will include representatives of the National ORCID Consortium Ukraine and ORCID Coordinator Ms. Paloma Marín-Arraiza, Associate Director of Engagement.
