Description
An important area of the university's activities is scientific work and the training of scientific and pedagogical staff. Research work in UkrDUZT in the field of technical sciences is carried out in 17 Sectoral Research Laboratories (SRL), the Center for Diagnostics of Transport Structures, and 25 departments. In the field of social sciences, research work is provided by one SRL and 10 departments. The results of the scientific work of the university staff are reflected in scientific articles, conference and symposium materials, and monographs, both in Ukraine and abroad, particularly in scientific publications indexed by scientometric databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.
The university's scientists actively participate in inventive activities, which is confirmed by numerous patents for inventions and utility models, copyright certificates, and licenses. The university is the founder of four scientific publications, which are included in the list of scientific professional publications of Ukraine.
