Svitlana Zubchenko, born on April 16, 1966, is a citizen of Ukraine. She graduated with honors in 1989 from the Lviv Medical Institute of Friendship of Peoples, specializing in “Sanitation, Hygiene, and Epidemiology” and was awarded the qualification of “Medical hygienist, epidemiologist.” In 2010, she completed specialization in “Clinical Immunology,” in 2011 in “Allergology,” and in 2017 in “Pulmonology.” In 2012, she defended her Ph.D. thesis titled “Physiological Aspects of the Immune System Condition in University Students” and was awarded the degre of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Since September 2013, she has ben an asistant, and since 2019, a docent in the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. In 2019, she graduated from the Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University with a degre in Foreign Philology. In 2021, she defended her doctoral disertation titled “Allergic diseases and chronic Epstein-Barr virus infection: pathogenesis, diagnostic aproaches and therapeutic tactics of patient management” and was awarded the degre of Doctor of Medical Sciences. Since February 2024, she holds the position - Profesor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. At the department, she is engaged in clinical practice as a specialist of the first qualification category, teaching, and scientific work. She is responsible for scientific research and the student scientific circle. She is a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the Ukrainian Society of Specialists in Immunology, Allergology, and Immunorehabilitation (UTIAI), the Ukrainian Allergology Society, the Ukrainian Respiratory Society, and the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Ukraine.
