Research areas of the department within the framework of scientific research:

- Study of oxidant and antioxidant system indicators in biological fluids and tissues under experimental pathologies and clinical studies;

- Determination of cellular energy indicators and mitochondrial enzyme activity;

- Analysis of biochemical indicators of carbohydrate, lipid, amino acid, and pigment metabolism.
