Centralized scientific and technical processing of new paper and electronic document arrivals and their transfer to the structural divisions of the NSTL.

Formation of an electronic catalog for current document arrivals and for the retrospective collection of book publications at the NSTL.

Providing consultations related to the department's activities.

Providing services for determining UDC (Universal Decimal Classification) indexes for documents.

Ensuring an optimal model for the NSTL fund considering the availability of modern electronic full-text libraries and databases.

Formulating recommendations for the NSTL fund's acquisition based on monitoring the market of publishing scientific and technical products and analyzing existing scientific electronic databases.

Timely, scientifically grounded acquisition of the fund in accordance with the long-term thematic-typological and operational acquisition plans.

Ensuring completeness of fund acquisition with mandatory copies of documents according to the NSTL profile.

Ensuring the completion of the fund with relevant publications, addressing gaps.

Providing consultations related to the department's activities.

Book exchange with libraries in Ukraine.
