Department of Neonatology

The Department of Neonatology was established in 1977 with the aim of training neonatologists in the field of medical care for newborns, conducting scientific research and education for the implementation of new technologies of intensive care and nursing of premature babies. Clinical bases of the Department: National Research and Development Center "Okhmatdyt" of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, KNP "Perinatal Center of Kyiv", "Kyiv Regional Perinatal Center", "Brovary Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital"

The Department trains pediatricians, neonatologists in internship, specialization, thematic improvement cycles.

The scientific direction of the Department is the health of newborns, diagnostics, treatment and prevention of neonatal diseases, intensive care, neuromonitoring in premature babies.
