Біографія

Kostitska Iryna Oleksandrivna, Doctor of Medicine, Professor at the Department of Endocrinology of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Endocrinologist of superior expert category.

In 2003, Iryna Oleksandrivna graduated with honors from Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and gained the degree of Doctor of Medicine in the specialty of General Medicine. In 2004, she began her research paper as Assistant Professor at the Department of Endocrinology, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. In 2009, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation in V.Ya. Danylevskyi Institute for Endocrine Pathology Problems of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (Kharkiv) on the topic: “Clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of biftop and epadol use in the complex treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus”. In 2018, she defended her doctoral dissertation in V.Ya. Danylevskyi Institute for Endocrine Pathology Problems of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (Kharkiv) on the topic: “Diabetic gastroparesis: incidence, risk factors, development mechanisms, treatment”. Total experience -23 years, in endocrinology -22 years. Specialization: Endocrinologist of superior expert category.

She is an author of more than 250 scientific papers.

Iryna Kostitska is a speaker and participant of national and international forums, conferences, symposia, congresses in the USA, the UK, Germany, Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Canada, China, India, Hungary, Portugal, and the United Arab Emirates.

She is a full member of the following endocrinological communities: the endocrinological society of the USA (The Endocrine Society, 2007), the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE, 2011), the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD, 2014), the European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE, 2013), the Ukrainian Association of Endocrinologists (2005), the Association of Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine (2009), the Ukrainian Diabetes Association (UDA, 2011), the Ukrainian Medical Society (2013), and the Ukrainian Association of Clinical Research (UACR, 2018), the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE, 2019), European Thyroid Association (ETA, 2022), International Menopause Society (IMS, 2023).

Field of scientific interests: diabetology, endocrine gynecology, thyroidology.
