20.601.01 in the specialty "Internal Diseases", was the chairman of the State Examination Commission for the Final Certification of Graduates (2014-
2015, 2015- 2016 academic years), member of the Society of Gastroenterologists, the Carpathian Society of Therapists, the Ukrainian Association of Outpatient Medicine.
He defended his PhD thesis "Spa Treatment of Chronic Pancreatitis with the Use of Chloride-Sulphate-Potassium-Magnesium-Sodium Mineral Water" on 08.02.1983 in the Specialized Academic Council at the Odessa Research Institute of Balneology.
He defended his doctoral dissertation "Clinical and pathogenetic features of chronic gastritis with secretory insufficiency and their correction using physical factors" in the specialized Academic Council at the Kyiv State Institute for Advanced Training of Doctors of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine named after P.L. Shupyk. Doctor of Medical Sciences since 1995. He graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk State Medical Institute in 1973 with a specialty in "Medical Affairs". After completing his internship in the specialty "Internal Diseases" from 1974 to 1994, he worked in various positions at the Morshyn resort. Since 1996, he has worked as a professor at the Department of Therapy and Family Medicine of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the IFNMU.
