Andrii Protsyk (born 1987) is an Associate Professor at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, where he has been working since 2012. He graduated with honors in 2010 and defended his PhD in 2019, focusing on parasitic infections and liver function.
He is the author of 88 scientific publications (2025), including papers indexed in Scopus, and regularly presents at national and international conferences. His research interests include infectious and parasitic diseases, clinical hepatology, and medical education.
Dr. Protsyk is a board-certified physician and has been involved in the clinical management of COVID-19 patients since 2020. He actively implements interactive teaching methods, including Clinical Case Discussion and virtual patients, and participates in international academic projects.
