He studied at the Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute, completed his studies at the Military Medical Faculty at the Kuibyshev Medical Institute, where he received a military doctor's diploma in 1982. He served in the armed forces of the Soviet Union and Ukraine in positions from a military unit doctor to the head of the division's medical service. He has been working at the department since 2015. He completed the "TSSS" course from NAEMT (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians). He conducts military training classes according to the program for reserve officers of the medical service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and also works with students of a professional medical college. He has confirmed the highest pedagogical category. Author (co-author) of 30 scientific papers.
