Pavlo Mykolayovych Skliarov

Doctor of veterinary sciences, professor.

A graduate of the Kharkiv Zooveterinary Institute, who graduated in 1995 with the specialty "Veterinary Medicine" with the qualification of a doctor of veterinary medicine.

In 1999, he defended his candidate's thesis "Effect of antibiotics and media for cultivating oocytes in vitro on the quality indicators of bull sperm" in the specialty 03.00.20 - biotechnology, and in 2013 he defended his thesis "Reproductive function in sheep and goats due to vitamin A deficiency and methods of correction » to obtain the scientific degree of doctor of veterinary sciences in the specialty 16.00.07 – veterinary obstetrics. In 2002, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor, and in 2015 – professor.

Since 2010, he has been working at the Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University (Dnipropetrovsk State Agrarian University) as an associate professor of the department of clinical diagnostics and internal diseases of animals, and since 2014 as a professor of the department of surgery and obstetrics of farm animals.

The author of 358 scientific and educational and methodological works, including 135 articles (including 19 included in the scientometric databases of the Web of Science Core Collection), 84 theses, 18 declaratory patents for inventions and utility models, 6 technical conditions for drugs, 4 monographs, 1 scientific and methodical publication, 4 reference books, 7 training manuals, 10 scientific and practical and 125 training and methodical recommendations.

The main directions of scientific research are "Development of a program of comprehensive diagnosis, prevention and therapy of animals with perinatal pathology, postpartum metro- and gonadopathy" and "Development and implementation of innovative methods and solutions using information and technical devices in veterinary reproductive medicine". Head of research work "Clinical correction of ecological destruction of anthropogenic origin in domestic animals of the Dnipro industrial region" (state registration number 0115U002143, 2015-2025).
