The visit took place within the framework of international partnership and the Together into the Future project. The Institute of Ethnology of the NAS of Ukraine was represented by Tamara Patsai, Acting Deputy Director for Research, PhD in History; Iryna Zamostianyk, Acting Academic Secretary, PhD in History; Roksoliana Bratash, Chief Curator of the Museum of Ethnography and Artistic Crafts; and Valentyna Tesliuk, Head of the Museum's Collections Department.

Throughout the week, the specialists worked with colleagues from the Archive, Conservation Department, Digitisation Department, Art Department, and Department of Numismatics and Historical Artefacts of the Ossolineum. Polish colleagues presented practical solutions used for the preservation, restoration, and digitisation of cultural heritage objects.

Particular attention was paid to the management of museum collections and approaches to presenting collections to visitors. Representatives of the Institute discussed these issues with Joanna Bloch, Deputy Director of the Ossolineum for the Lubomirski Princes Museum; Beata Turek-Józefczak, Chief Curator of the Museum Collections; Małgorzata Łukaszek, Head of the Programme Department; and specialists from the Pan Tadeusz Museum. They also visited the exhibition O! Ossolineum. Treasury under the Dome.

The professional programme also included visits to other museums and cultural institutions in Wrocław. The researchers visited the permanent exhibition 1000 Years of Wrocław at the City Museum, located in the Royal Palace; the Wrocław Archdiocesan Museum; and the Zajezdnia History Centre. These visits provided an opportunity to explore different models of working with historical collections and presenting them in museum spaces.

Further cooperation between the Institute of Ethnology of the NAS of Ukraine and the Ossolineum was discussed during a meeting with Łukasz Kamiński, Director of the National Ossoliński Institute, and Marek Mutor, First Deputy Director. The institutions agreed to continue professional contacts and the exchange of expertise and experience.
