Every year, on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, celebrated on November 21, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine awards 25 state scholarships to outstanding young scientists. These scholarships were established to honor the heroism of the Heavenly Hundred, preserve the memory of the events of the Revolution of Dignity, and support young researchers who make significant contributions to the development of Ukrainian science and the strengthening of national resilience.

The scholarships are awarded for a one-year period in the amount of two subsistence minimums set at the beginning of the year for employable persons.

They are aimed at supporting those whose scientific achievements enhance Ukraine’s international standing, advance democratic and humanistic values, and contribute to protecting national interests in today’s challenging circumstances.

According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated November 21, 2025, No. 1534, the 2025 scholarship recipients include 25 young scientists from higher education institutions and research organizations of Ukrainian government bodies, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the national sectoral academies of sciences.
