The International Innovation Show was founded in 1971 and is one of the world's oldest invention exhibitions. In October 2021, The Junior Academy of Sciences' (JAS) students represented Ukraine at INOVA for the first time.

This year, the Ukrainian delegation participated for the third time and returned home with an impressive result: 15 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals. In addition to the medals, they received 7 special awards and 2 team awards.

"I am sincerely delighted with the achievements of JAS students at the International Innovation Show INOVA. Every year, the Ukrainian delegation demonstrates a high level at this event. Our children consistently impress the world with the topics of their research and developments, as well as the quality of their work. This year, it is evident from the projects that future technologies, ecology, innovations, and, of course, overcoming problems caused by the aggressor's terrorist actions in our country are a priority. For example, the development of a tool for diagnosing non-contrast fragments in the bodies of the wounded and the 'Avatar' robot designed for demining. The achievements of JAS members motivate all of us not to stop in our activities, to work harder and more persistently, creating new opportunities for the realization and introduction of science to the younger generation of Ukrainians," commented Stanislav Dovhyi, the President of JAS.
