On January 19, 2026, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine issued Order No. 56, which updates the Procedure for the Formation of the List of Scientific Professional Journals of Ukraine.

In connection with the entry into force of this Order and the significant number of practical questions from editorial boards and founders of academic periodicals, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine have prepared consolidated answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the application of the new requirements.
