The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has received inquiries from scientific institutions regarding inclusion in the State Register of Scientific Institutions eligible for state support after completing the state accreditation in 2025.

We inform that the launch of the digital tool for submitting applications for inclusion in the State Register in the National Electronic Scientific Information System «URIS» is scheduled for January 1, 2026. Responsible persons for submitting materials for state accreditation will have access to the corresponding service in their electronic accounts to submit applications.

Who can apply for inclusion in the State Register
The State Register includes scientific institutions and higher education institutions, regardless of ownership form, that have passed state accreditation and have been assigned to groups A, B, or C based on the results.

Institutions undergoing extraordinary state accreditation will be able to submit applications after the accreditation process is completed.

Required documents for submission
Most documents and data have already been collected during accreditation in the «URIS» system. However, when submitting the application, the following must also be provided:

1. Copies of the institution’s founding documents;
   
2. A certificate on the state of development of the research material and technical base. A sample form is available via the provided link.
   

Application and review deadlines

First wave:

• January 1–8, 2026 – submission of applications;
  
• January 9–16, 2026 – review and approval of results.
  

Second wave:

• January 9–22, 2026 – submission of applications;
  
• January 23–30, 2026 – review and approval of results.
  

Subsequently, the possibility of submitting applications will be open on a permanent basis and will be processed during the first quarter of 2026 by the relevant commission once a month.
