Research internships from New York University's Center for Responsible Artificial Intelligence

The Center for Responsible Artificial Intelligence of the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, with the support of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the Ukrainian Catholic University, offers research internships for Ukrainian students.

Full-time students studying Information Technology at an accredited Ukrainian university can participate in the program.

The program will run from September 18, 2023, to December 15, 2023, and will be entirely distance learning. As part of this program, teams of 2-3 Ukrainian students will work with a faculty member from NYU or another university in the US or Western Europe and one other researcher on their team (usually a doctoral student or postdoc) on a topic of mutual interest. Research will be conducted remotely, and will also be supplemented with live events at UCU.

Research topics include: algorithmic fairness, interpretability and explainability, data privacy and protection, data management for machine learning, causal inference, evaluation, and benchmarking.

The deadline is September 4, 2023.
