Starting January 14, 2026, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (SSTL of Ukraine) officially began its work within the framework of the Project “Ukrainian National Coalition StartAid Ukraine” (Subgrant C4DD). Partnership Agreement No. 14 was concluded between the Ukrainian Startup Association and the SSTL of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Project implementation period: January 14, 2026 – March 31, 2027.

The project pursues a key objective: to provide every Ukrainian — researcher, student, entrepreneur, educator, veteran, and professional — with real access to modern digital knowledge and tools.

The driving force behind the project is the Ukrainian Startup Association, an organization established to foster the development of Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. The Association’s core mission is to help startups secure funding and develop effective strategies for market entry and business scaling. Thanks to this expertise, StartAid Ukraine becomes not merely an educational initiative, but a powerful catalyst for innovation.

The central technological partner of the project is the European Digital Skills and Jobs Platform (DSJP) — the official European Commission platform that brings together resources, courses, funding opportunities, and career tools in the field of digital skills. DSJP offers thousands of free educational materials — from basic digital literacy to advanced courses in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data analytics. Through StartAid Ukraine, Ukrainian users will gain convenient access to these resources in Ukrainian, and Ukraine will become part of the unified Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition at the European Commission level — following the example of Estonia and Germany, which joined DSJP in January 2026.

Within the project framework, the SSTL of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and project partners, will conduct a series of information and communication events. All activities will be held online, taking into account the security situation in the country, which also ensures accessibility for Ukrainians from any region and from abroad. Registration for events, announcements, and recordings will be available on the official websites of the SSTL of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and on the StartAid Ukraine platform after its launch.
