The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (SSTL) invites participation in the IV International Conference “Open Science and Innovation in Ukraine 2025”, which will be held online on October 22–23, 2025. The event will bring together representatives of research institutions, universities, libraries, government authorities, as well as international partners engaged in the development of open science policies in Europe and worldwide.
The conference has already become a recognized brand, symbolizing the development of Ukrainian science in the direction of openness, transparency, and integration into the European research space.
A key feature of the conference will be the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) InfoDay, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It will be opened by Salomé Moezzi-Gacon, Governance Officer of the COST Association, who will present the mechanisms for joining COST Actions and explain how Ukrainian researchers can make the most effective use of the opportunities offered by these programs.
The event will also present an overview of Ukraine’s participation in the COST Association, including key directions for further cooperation and the development of interdisciplinary research networks. Participants will learn about successful examples of Ukrainian researchers’ involvement in COST Actions, their experience of international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the impact on the development of research competencies.
In addition, the conference will feature the results of the state attestation of research institutions and higher education institutions, the development of the National Electronic Scientific Information System URIS, the activities of the ORCID-Ukraine and EIFL-Ukraine Consortia, as well as new initiatives in open access, FAIR data, and scientific communication.
