Grant Support for Ukrainian Scientists and Technical Experts Working in the Field of CBRN Security

Description

The acceptance of grant applications to support the publication of articles and conference attendance for Ukrainian scientists, technical specialists, and engineers specializing in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) security has been extended.

This competition is organized by the Representation of the U.S. Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CRDF Global) on behalf of the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation (ISN/CTR) of the U.S. Department of State's Office of Threat Reduction.

The application deadline is November 6, 2023.

Publication of Articles

Microgrants are provided for the publication of scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals. Payments are made directly to the publishers, and reimbursement for previously paid publications is not provided.

Conference Attendance

Support is offered for participation and/or presentation at national and international conferences. The grant amount can go up to $1,500, which can cover expenses related to travel and participation in the event.

Applicants must clearly specify the purpose of seeking grant support, including justification and benefits for advancing the applicant's scientific research and/or career development.
