The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine, in cooperation with TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library (Germany), and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, invites you to participate in the Fourth International Conference “Open Science and Innovation in Ukraine 2025”, which will take place online on October 22–23, 2025.
The event is organized within the framework of the International Open Access Week 2025 (https://www.openaccessweek.org/theme/uk) and aims to serve as an open platform for the exchange of professional experience, ideas, and best practices in the field of open science.
The main goal of the conference is to strengthen dialogue among stakeholders on the effective implementation of open science principles in Ukraine. Key topics for discussion include:
The conference will bring together researchers, government representatives, academic libraries, infrastructure providers, innovators, policy developers, and the wider public. The event is expected to enhance cross-sectoral cooperation, foster new partnerships, and shape a shared vision for integrating Ukrainian science into the European Research Area through open science and innovation.
We invite researchers, librarians, data stewards, science administrators, and other stakeholders tosubmit abstracts. Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings and made openly available on Zenodo with assigned DOIs.
This conference is an important step toward building a transparent, open, and competitive research ecosystem in Ukraine.
