On 25 March 2026, an open online meeting of the ORCID community — ORCID Community Town Hall — will take place. Representatives of research institutions, universities, libraries, publishers, and everyone working with researcher identifiers and open science infrastructure are invited to participate.
The event will be held in a webinar format. To accommodate a global audience, two sessions have been scheduled:
25 March 2026 at 01:00 UTC — a session primarily intended for participants from the APAC region;
25 March 2026 at 15:00 UTC — a session for participants from Europe (including Ukraine), the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas (EMEA / Americas).
During the meeting, the senior team of ORCID will present an overview of the organization’s progress in 2025 and share plans and key initiatives for 2026. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and discuss the further development of the researcher identifier infrastructure..
