The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (SSTL) invites you to join the Fifth International Conference “Open Science and Innovation in Ukraine 2026” (#OSIU2026), which will take place online on 21–22 October 2026.

OSIU2026 provides a platform for professional dialogue on the development of open science, research infrastructure and innovation in Ukraine, as well as the integration of Ukrainian research into the European Research Area.

The programme features seven thematic sessions covering the development of research infrastructure, reform of research assessment, open research data and reproducibility, research integrity, legal aspects of open science, innovation, and the development of digital resources and skills.

Key topics include the implementation of FAIR principles, research data management, the use of artificial intelligence in research, open access to research outputs, responsible research assessment, the development of the startup ecosystem, and the commercialisation of research results.

The conference welcomes researchers, early-career researchers and PhD students, representatives of universities and research institutions, public authorities, libraries, academic publishers, research infrastructures, the IT sector and innovative businesses.

The conference is organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine, the Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library (TIB), the Ukrainian Library Association, and the Ukrainian Startup Association.
