On 16 February 2026, the final information day of the RIFF (Research Infrastructure for Future) project will take place in Kyiv. All Ukrainian higher education institutions, research institutions, and scientific organizations are invited to participate.

One of the main outcomes of the RIFF project will be the development of the “Roadmap for the Development and Enhancement of Research Infrastructures in Ukraine”, aimed at better integrating the national scientific and academic community into European and global research networks. A series of information days, two of which have already been held in Lviv (27 October 2025) and Kharkiv (20 January 2026), was designed to raise awareness and conduct consultations with a wide range of stakeholders, including government bodies, universities, and research institutions.

Other RIFF activities provide mobility and knowledge exchange between EU research infrastructures and Ukrainian institutions, including training programs for managers and operators of research infrastructures.

Participants of the Information Day will be able to:

• Learn about the concept of research infrastructures (RI) in the European Union context;
  
• Discover RIFF project opportunities for the development of Ukrainian research infrastructures and their connection to national and pan-European networks;
  
• Join project initiatives and upcoming activities;
  
• Establish contacts with members of the research infrastructure community in Ukraine and the EU.
  

Participation in this event will enable university leaders, research institution directors, departmental heads, and all research infrastructure stakeholders to engage in shaping the roadmap and development plan for Ukraine’s research infrastructures of the future.
