The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills announce a new call under the Nansen EDU – Norwegian–Ukrainian Cooperation in Higher Education programme, with a total budget of up to NOK 80,000,000 to support partnership projects between higher education institutions in Norway and Ukraine.
The maximum funding per project is up to NOK 5,000,000 (EUR 425,000).

The aim of the programme is to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian higher education institutions, improve the quality of educational programmes, foster cooperation in teaching, research and innovation, and expand access to quality higher education.

Norwegian higher education institutions are invited to apply in partnership with at least two Ukrainian higher education institutions, including displaced universities and institutions operating in regions most affected by Russian aggression. Particular emphasis is placed on projects that contribute to digital transformation, the development of STEM disciplines, healthcare, legal, economic and social sciences, energy and environmental studies, as well as inclusive education.

Projects may last up to three years, with a start date between 1 June and 1 July 2026.
