The Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) announces the opening of the TÜBA Academy Prizes 2024 in the following categories: basic and engineering sciences; health care and life sciences; social sciences and humanities.

The prizes are awarded for original cutting-edge and ground-breaking research in each field.

Also, every year one of the prizes is awarded to scholars whose activities are related to Turkey or Turkish issues, that is, to those who work in Turkey and/or study Turkey. This year's award in the field of social sciences and humanities will recognize scholars whose scientific activities are closely related to Turkey (research and study).

Nominees applying for the TÜBA Academy Prizes 2024 must not have received any other awards or honors in the field of science from Turkish government institutions and organizations in the past three years. Applications (the form is attached) for participation in the competition, together with a letter of recommendation from the institution in Ukrainian and English, please be submitted to the Department of International Relations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (a.ivanov@nas.gov.ua) by April 26, 2024.
