We invite you to join the third training seminar in the series “Writing and Publishing Articles in High-Impact Scientific Journals,” initiated by the Ukrainian Materials Research Society named after I.M. Frantsevich and the I.M. Frantsevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Speaker – Professor Maksym Kovalenko, Chair of Functional Inorganic Materials at the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry, ETH Zurich.

The research activities of Professor Kovalenko and his group focus on the chemistry, physics, and applications of inorganic solid-state materials and nanostructures. Some areas of research related to batteries and light-emitting devices are carried out at ETH’s affiliated institution – Empa (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology).

Professor Maksym Kovalenko serves as Associate Editor of the journal Chemistry of Materials. He is the author of approximately 500 publications indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science scientometric databases. According to Scopus, his h-index is 102, with over 50,000 citations.

The seminar will take place on May 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Kyiv time, in an online format as a discussion.
