On December 4 at 15:00, the online event University Innovation Day will take place. The event is dedicated to how Ukrainian universities can systematically develop innovation and support their startup teams — from idea to launch.

This is the final event of the university startup studios within the Seeds of Bravery project:
“Seeds of Bravery Startup Studios Final Event: University Innovations in Ukraine — From Policy to Practice.”

The event will be useful for:

• university leadership and management;
  
• innovation offices and structural units working with startups;
  
• faculty and researchers who support student projects;

During the event:
🔹 The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund will present modern approaches to supporting university innovation and developing a network of startup schools — incubators — accelerators.
🔹 The YEP Accelerator team will share the results of a two-year pilot of the Seeds of Bravery university startup studios in four universities and practical tools for working with teams inside HEIs.
🔹 Experts will discuss how universities can approach creating spin-offs within the Ukrainian legal and institutional context.
🔹 The experience of Aalto University (Finland) in building an innovation ecosystem around the university will be presented.
🔹 Teams from the YEP Beyond the Thesis incubation program will showcase how research can grow into real startups.

The event is also part of the Roadmap for developing a network of startup schools — incubators — accelerators, which opens new opportunities for startups already involved in these institutions and provides access to additional expertise, markets, and funding.
