The State Scientific and Technical Library (SSTL) of Ukraine invites you to a webinar presentation of the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, which will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM.

About the Barcelona Declaration: The Barcelona Declaration is an initiative aimed at strengthening collaboration among scientific institutions and supporting research initiatives. The initiative was prepared by a group of 25 experts representing organizations that conduct, fund, and evaluate research. The preparation of the Declaration was coordinated by Bianca Kramer (Sesame Open Science project), Cameron Neylon (Curtin Open Knowledge Initiative, Curtin University), and Ludo Waltman (Centre for Science and Technology Studies, Leiden University).

Webinar Details: The webinar will begin with an introductory speech by the organizers and a brief overview of the Barcelona Declaration, followed by a Q&A session where participants can ask questions. Additionally, there will be short presentations by representatives of institutions that have signed the Barcelona Declaration, who will share their perspectives on the importance of disseminating open research information.
