In response to numerous inquiries from editorial boards of scholarly journals regarding specific aspects of submitting applications for inclusion in the updated List of Ukrainian Scholarly Journals (Category B), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine is organizing a practical webinar.

During the event, experts will address key technical and methodological aspects of preparing and submitting applications and will provide practical recommendations on working with research information systems and international scientometric databases.

Webinar Program

  1. Confirmation of Editorial Board Membership in a Scholarly Journal
    Presentation of a guideline for Ukrainian and international researchers on confirming their participation in the editorial board of a scholarly journal (Category B) in the Ukrainian Research Information System (URIS) (nauka.gov.ua).
    Participants will be introduced to a step-by-step workflow within the system.

  2. Adding Peer Review Information to a Researcher Profile
    Practical recommendations on how to reflect peer review activities in a researcher’s profile on the Web of Science platform.
    Speaker — Iryna Tykhonkova, Clarivate.
  3. Calculating the Share of Cited Articles in a Scholarly Journal
    Practical guidance on calculating the share of cited articles in scholarly periodicals (Category A and Category B) using the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus databases.
    Speaker — Olena Rachynska, State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine.
