STATE INSTITUTION OF SCIENCE CENTER OF INNOVATIVE HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGIES STATE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT

The State Institution of Science «Center of innovative healthcare technologies» (until 08.07.2024 – «Research and Practical Center of Preventive and Clinical Medicine») State Administrative Department (SIS «CIHT» SAD) carries out its activities on the basis of science, education and practice unity.

There are 4 scientific departments in the structure of the SIS «CIHT» SAD:

- Scientific Department of Internal Medicine;

- Scientific Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery;

- Scientific Department of Medical Care Organization;

- Scientific Department of Educational and Information Technologies.

As of 31 December 2024, 59 researchers hold scientific positions, including 22 Doctors of Sciences (including 2 Academicians of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, 2 Corresponding Members of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, 1 Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, 16 Professors, 2 Associate Professors and 3 Senior Researchers), 27 Candidates of Sciences and Doctors of Philosophy (including 6 Associate Professors and 1 Senior Researcher).

83% of scientists have a scientific degree, which indicates a high level of training of qualified scientific personnel.

Since 2016, the SIS «CIHT» SAD has been licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to conduct educational activities at the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 22 Health Care, specialty 222 Medicine. During this period, 15 people completed their postgraduate studies at the SIS «CIHT» SAD and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 222 “Medicine”.

At present, the SIS «CIHT» SAD has a strong scientific potential for planning and conducting research in accordance with priority areas. The SIS «CIHT» SAD is one of the leading institutions in Ukraine where scientific research is conducted on the development of preventive care in clinical medicine and the introduction of modern standardized approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of major non-communicable diseases.

Clinical units are represented by powerful outpatient and inpatient services that provide all types of medical care to the population: from primary to highly specialized, ambulance and emergency care provided to children from birth and adults. This allows us to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention programs, and conduct research to assess the effectiveness of innovative treatment technologies in healthcare facilities.

The structure of the SIS «CIHT» SAD includes an educational unit - the Center for Advanced Training “Institute of Postgraduate Education”. The organizational structure of the SIS «CIHT» SAD - a combination of scientific, clinical and educational units - allows to comprehensively solve problematic issues, in particular, regarding the continuous professional education of medical personnel, methodological support for the introduction of modern technologies, in accordance with the provisions of evidence-based medicine.

The SIS «CIHT» SAD is the founder of two scientific journals:

“Clinical and Preventive Medicine”, which is indexed in Scopus, CrossRef (USA) and Google Scholar, and since December 2024 has been included in the “List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine” of category A;

“Ukrainian Educational and Scientific Medical Space”.
