Biography
I was born in Lviv on April 18, 1969. In 1994, graduated from the Pediatric Faculty of the Lviv State Medical Institute. During 1994–1996, I completed an internship in pediatric infectious diseases.
From August 1996 to September 2004, I worked as a pediatric infectious disease specialist at the Municipal Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital of Lviv. In 2004 I worked as an assistant of the department until 2013, later - as an associate professor of the department. From January 19, 2018 to June 21, 2023, I held the position of head of the department, and from September 2023 as an associate professor.
I conduct practical classes with students of the 5th and 6th years of the medical, pediatric and preventive medicine faculties. Since 2007, I have been teaching 5–6 courses to foreign (English-speaking) students, including lectures and practical classes.
I have prepared test tasks, assignments, as well as methodological recommendations for practical and seminar classes, adapted for English-speaking students. In the 2014–2015 academic year, I was recognized by foreign students as the "Best Teacher of the Year".
Organizer and scientific supervisor of student scientific works, awarded with diplomas of various levels at international and Ukrainian competitions.
I work with FPDE interns, trainee doctors, I am the scientific supervisor of student scientific works, which have gained recognition at national and international competitions.
In April 2012, I defended my PhD thesis on the topic: "Clinical and laboratory features and optimization of treatment of acute gastrointestinal diseases in young children caused by opportunistic flora".
Supervised the dissertations:
Stasiv M. "COVID-19 and multisystem inflammatory syndrome associated with SARS-CoV-2 in children: clinical and immunological features of the course" (protected on 05/27/2024).
Basa N. "Clinical, epidemiological and immunological features of Lyme borreliosis in children" (protected on 06/10/2024).
In 2023, I began work on doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Immunopathological manifestations in children who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection: immunopathogenesis, diagnostics, treatment"
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I consulted children with SARS-CoV-2 in the intensive care units and specialized departments of the hospitals "OKHMATDYT" and LMPKH.
Since 2019, I have been working as the chief expert on pediatric infectious diseases of the Department of Health of the Lviv Regional State Administration. In 2021, I completed a medical internship in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases at the Emsey Hospital clinic (Istanbul, Turkey, 108 hours).
I constantly consult children in hospitals in Lviv and the region, and am actively involved in volunteer activities in medical care for IDP children.

Confirmed the highest qualification category in the specialty "Childhood Infectious Diseases" in 2019 (Order of the Ministry of Health No. 1006 dated 03.05.2019).
