Romaniuk Svitlana Ivanivna (25.07.75) graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology of Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv (microbiology / immunology). She studied at the postgraduate course of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, where she defended her PhD thesis in 2002 in the specialty "Bioorganic Chemistry". Since 1997, she has been working in the Department of Molecular Immunology of the O.V. Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine.
Research into the antigenic, immunogenic, and immunobiological properties of proteins, in particular recombinant ones, which can be used as components of diagnostic test systems, therapeutic drugs, and new generation vaccines to combat infectious diseases of the respiratory tract (pertussis, diphtheria, tuberculosis, COVID-19).
