Biography
Born in 1951. Graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (1973) and completed postgraduate studies at the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Genetics and Selection of Industrial Microorganisms (1979). He defended his candidate's dissertation in 1981 and his doctoral dissertation in 2005. Since 1979, he has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and since 2004, he has been the head of this department.
