The establishment of the Department of Educational Design is driven by the urgent need to modernize the educational (upbringing) process in general secondary education institutions in the context of social transformations and crisis phenomena. The events of recent years—war, forced migration, and the digitalization of social interactions—have caused significant changes in the development, needs, and lived experiences of modern learners. Under such conditions, traditional models of educational work lose their effectiveness, as they fail to take into account the impact of crisis factors and the specifics of the digital environment in which the personality is formed.
The demand of the education system for innovative, project-based, and scientifically grounded approaches to educating students who are capable of adapting, maintaining psychological resilience, developing value orientations, and achieving personal self-realization, has led to the establishment of a specialized research unit whose mission is to integrate research and applied work in the field of education (upbringing).
Department Mission. To provide scientific and methodological support for the modernization of the educational (upbringing) process in institutions of various types through the development, piloting, implementation, and dissemination of innovative educational models and technologies in the context of crisis situations and digital environments.
Department Objectives:
● To conduct fundamental and applied research on issues of educational design in contemporary social and educational conditions.

● To develop methodological recommendations, tools, and educational materials for use in general secondary and out-of-school education institutions.
● To determine mechanisms and pedagogical conditions for implementing research results into educational practice.
● To provide training and professional development for teachers regarding the use of project-based and digital technologies in education (upbringing).
● To systematize, disseminate, and popularize research results through academic publications, digital resources, conferences, and methodological events.
