Біографія
In 1993, he graduated from the Sumy Institute of Physics and Technology, majoring in mechanical engineering technology, with a qualification as a mechanical engineer in the specialty "Mechanical Engineering Technology".
In 1994, while working as the head of the computer graphics laboratory at Sumy State University, he enrolled in correspondence postgraduate studies.
In the period from 1994 to 1997, while studying in a correspondence postgraduate course, he worked as a junior researcher at the Department of Graphical Geometry and Graphics at scientific topics.
Since 1999, he worked at the Sumy National Agrarian University (SNAU) as a junior researcher of the problem laboratory "Automation of technological processes and productions".
In 2000, he was transferred to the position of assistant at the Department of Operation and Repair of Machines at the SNAU.
He defended his dissertation on the topic: "Increasing the reliability of assembly systems by optimizing time technological chains" in the specialized council at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute".
In 2001, by the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine, he was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, majoring in "Mechanical Engineering Technology".
From 2001 to the present Ievgen Konoplianchenko works as an associate professor of the Technical Service Chair of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of SNAU.
In 2003, by the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor at the department of machine operation and repair
In 2004, the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine confirmed the correspondence of the academic degree of the candidate of technical sciences to the Ph.D degree (Academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy).
During the five years from 2001 to 2006, Ievgen Konoplianchenko worked as deputy dean of the engineering and technological faculty of SNAU for scientific work.
In the period from 2007 to 2008, he performed the duties of the secretary of the academic council of the Sumy National University of Science and Technology.
In 2008, he was elected a full member of the Ukrainian Academy of Technology in the department "Modern Technologies of Mechanical Engineering".
Since 2014, Ievgen Konoplianchenko is a member of the scientific team for the implementation of joint Ukrainian-Polish scientific projects. He is a member of the organizing committee of a number of international scientific conferences.
During 2017-2019, Ievgen Konoplianchenko was the editor-in-chief of the international scientific, industrial and information magazine "Compressor and Power Engineering", specialized in technical sciences
Since 2019, he has been a member of the International Association for Technological Development and Innovations (International Association for Technological Development and Innovations).
Author of 545 scientific and educational works, including 195 scientific articles, 67 publications in publications included in the SCOPUS scientometric database (h-index - 19), 40 publications in publications included in the Web of Science scientometric database, 47 patents , co-author of 17 monographs, 9 of which are foreign (in the EU language), a textbook, a dictionary, and a study guide with the seal of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Participates in the certification of scientific workers - 13 times acted as an official opponent in the defense of theses. He is the supervisor of graduate students' dissertations, under his supervision in 2023 Chinese graduate student defended his Ph.D. thesis.
In 2020, by Order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine No. 1111 dated September 7, 2020, Ievgen Konoplianchenko appointed as an expert to evaluate the effectiveness of higher education institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) activities in the scientific direction "Technical Sciences".
In 2022, by Order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine No. 1111 dated December 12, 2022, Ievgen Konoplianchenko was appointed as an expert to carry out an examination of scientific research projects and scientific and technical (experimental) developments submitted for participation in competitions held by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and reports on their implementation in the thematic direction "Mechanical Engineering".
In 2024, Ievgen Konoplianchenko was chosen as an expert for the examination of scientific research and development submitted to the National Research Fund of Ukraine in the field of technical sciences in the specialty "Processes of physical and technical processing".
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Science of Ukraine dated 07.12.2024 No. 982 Ievgen Konoplianchenko included in the list of Ukrainian experts of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for carrying out scientific and scientific and technical examination of objects of expertise in the scientific field of scientific and technical activity in the scientific direction "Engineering and technology", in the specialties 133 - Industrial mechanical engineering and 131 - Applied mechanics .

Виробнича і наукова діяльність пов'язана з розробкою методів і технологій створення технологічних систем підвищення якості виробів загального машинобудування, а також розробкою прогресивних технологій їх відновлення. Розробка енергозберігаючих технологій для забезпечення експлуатаційних властивостей робочих поверхонь деталей. Контроль якості поверхневих шарів деталей, забезпечення надійності та довговічності відповідальних елементів машин. Розробка ресурсозберігаючих технологій виробництва та реновації енергетичного обладнання.
