Богдан Стрілець

Біографія

Born on August 11, 1992, in the settlement of Kotelva, Poltava Oblast. In 2014 he graduated from the Faculty of International Law of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, majoring in "Law," and obtained a Master's degree in Law (diploma with honours). In 2021 he completed a second higher education degree at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, majoring in "Philology" (educational programme "English and a Second Foreign Language"), earning a Master's degree with honours.

He has been engaged in scholarly work since his student years, when he began publishing articles in professional legal journals. From 2014 to 2019 he studied as a postgraduate student at the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He has held the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences since 2020 (specialty 12.00.11 – International Law); the topic of his dissertation was "Legal Regulation of Investment Activity in the European Union."

From June 2022 to 2026 he was a doctoral candidate at the Department of International Law and Comparative Jurisprudence of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, working on a doctoral dissertation on the topic "Free Movement of Capital in European Union Law: Recent Trends in Theory and Practice."

He has been engaged in academic and teaching work in higher education institutions since 2017. From 2017 to 2023 he worked at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade. From 2022 to 2025 he was an associate professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Law at the Poltava State Agrarian University. Since September 2025 he has been an associate professor of the Department of Constitutional, Administrative and International Law at the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University (Lutsk).

He is the coordinator of the EU-funded Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module project "EU Law Postgraduate Studies (EULPS)" (No. 101126964 – EULPS – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), implemented at the V. M. Koretskyi Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2023–2026.

His main areas of research: legal regulation of investment activity in the European Union, the free movement of capital in EU law, EU internal market law, and the legal regulation of international relations. He is the author of more than 60 scholarly and educational-methodological works.

Member of non-governmental organizations "Pravova Ehida" ("Legal Aegis") and "Ukrainian Bar Association."
