I, Tеtiana Burakhovych, a Ukrainian woman, was born in 1960 in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region. In 1963, my family moved to the city of Kiev.
After graduating from school in 1977 worked as a preparer, and then a laboratory assistant at the Kyiv State University (KSU), simultaneously studied at the correspondence department of the Geological Faculty. In 1980 I was transferred to the position of senior technician at the Institute of "UkrGITI". In 1981 I moved to the third course of the permanent department of the Geological Faculty of the KSU.
After graduating from KSU in 1984, I was sent to work at the Institute of Geophysics. SI. Subbotin NAS of Ukraine, where I was appointed as a trainee researcher. After the defense of the dissertation and the awarding of the degree of the candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, since 1994 I worked as a senior researcher. In 1994-1995 received a scholarship from the President of Ukraine. In 1999 I was awarded the title of senior scientific worker in the specialty "Geophysics". From 2000 to 2003 he was a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Geophysics. Since 2003 I have been working as a leading researcher in the position of Doctor of Geological Sciences. In 2017 I received the academic title of Professor in specialty 103 - "Earth Sciences". From 2018 to the present, I have been working as a chief researcher of the Department of Deep Earth Processes and Gravimetry of the Institute of Geophysics named after SI. Saturday of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. 2012 – 2021 – Professor at the Geophysics Department of the Institute of Geology of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University (on an hourly basis).
Specialist in the field of research on electrical conductivity of the Earth's crust and upper mantle based on the data of the low-frequency natural electromagnetic field of the Earth of ionospheric-magnetospheric origin; construction of three-dimensional depth models of the distribution of electrical resistance in the earth's crust and upper mantle, detection of anomalies of high electrical conductivity in the bowels of the Earth and interpretation of their nature for the purpose of searching for minerals and forecasting seismic hazards and other natural phenomena. The total number of refereed scientific publications is 188, of which 17 are monographs.
