The National Fund for Research of Ukraine has announced elections for the Commission responsible for executing scientific research and developments under the "Science for Strengthening Ukraine's Defense" program.

The commission members will be selected from recognized scientists, considering the following key criteria:

1. Possession of an academic degree.
2. Extensive citation of scientific publications in the relevant field.
3. High qualifications and experience.
4. Experience in conducting scientific and scientific-technical expertise.
5. Impeccable professional reputation and academic integrity.

If at least two members of the scientific council of the fund have objections to a particular candidate regarding their reputation or academic integrity, that candidate will not be considered.

The fund's section's scientific council may apply additional selection criteria to ensure the election of the most qualified and experienced candidates.

To be elected to the commission, a candidate must receive more than half of the votes from the scientific council of the fund.

Remuneration for the commission members will be in accordance with the National Fund for Research of Ukraine's fund formation and utilization procedure and the payment norms for experts involved in state scientific and scientific-technical expertise, funded from the state budget.

To participate in the elections for commission members, applicants must submit completed forms, considering the specified main criteria, personally signed, in PDF format, to the fund's email address: nrfu@nrfu.org.ua.

The submission of forms by applicants is accepted from December 26, 2023, to January 2, 2024.
