Seminar for Ukrainian Scientists: "Science as a Weapon of Propaganda"
On March 26, 2025, at 15:00 (Kyiv time), an online seminar titled "Science as a Weapon of Propaganda" will take place, focusing on the operation of scientific institutions under occupation.
The seminar will be led by Tetiana Hryniova, Ph.D., a research fellow and head of the ATLAS-LAPP group at the Annecy Laboratory of Particle Physics (LAPP/IN2P3/CNRS, France).
Topics to be discussed:
✔ The impact of occupation on Ukrainian research institutions and the distortion of scientific activities.
✔ Science as a tool of propaganda: methods and objectives.
✔ The response of the international scientific community and possible countermeasures.
