The laureates of the Cabinet of Ministers Prize for the development and implementation of innovative technologies were awarded on December 14, 2023, as part of the presentation of Ukraine's Global Innovation Vision.
This year, the Prize was awarded to the authoring teams of five projects, and 39 participants from these teams were honored as laureates of the Prize.
The award ceremony was attended by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.
"Innovations are the key to Victory and the foundation for a high quality of life. They are necessary during the war to save human lives and are needed after its completion to demine territories, develop human capital, strengthen the economy, and restore global security.
Innovations become the main tool for building and developing Ukraine's high-tech defense sector, a technological shield that helps protect peace and democracy, and avoid global risks that threaten the existence of humanity," emphasized Mykhailo Fedorov.
The laureates of the Prize received diplomas from the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Denis Kurbatov.
"I sincerely thank the laureates of the Prize for their persistent and dedicated work in challenging times for the entire country and for scientific results that deserve the highest recognition and global acclaim. They are already working for the Victory of our state to address real issues of national security, defense, and healthcare," noted Denis Kurbatov.
The Prize is awarded annually for outstanding achievements in the development and implementation of innovative technologies in production and bringing Ukrainian innovative products to the market.
