On October 27, 2023, at 3:00 PM (Kyiv time), a public presentation of the digital platform 'Ukrainian Scientific Diaspora' will take place in an online format, developed with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The platform's creation aims to unite the efforts of Ukrainian scholars from various waves of migration for the reconstruction and development of Ukraine, as well as their integration into the global scientific community.

The platform's concept was developed by representatives of the Office of Scientific Support of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the NGO 'Innovative University.' Technical support was provided by professors and students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.

The platform features a digital map with information about Ukrainian scholars residing abroad who are open to collaboration with researchers working in Ukraine. This will facilitate the establishment of institutional cooperation between Ukrainian and international higher education institutions and research organizations, strengthen the cohesion of Ukrainians abroad for the realization of ideas related to post-war Ukraine's reconstruction through scientific development, and enhance the image of Ukrainian science on the world stage, among other objectives.
