The National Antarctic Scientific Center (NASC) of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MESU) has announced the competition for participation in the 32nd Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition to the Akademik Vernadsky Research Station for the 2027–2028 overwintering season.

Applications from prospective candidates will be accepted until 7 August 2026 (inclusive).

As in previous years, the expedition team will include researchers—primarily biologists, geophysicists, and meteorologists—as well as members of the station's operational support team, including a medical doctor, cook, system administrator, systems mechanic, and diesel-electric technician.
