The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (SSTL of Ukraine), as the technical administrator of the Ukrainian Research Information System (URIS), continues to support the submission of applications to the National Researcher System of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has extended the deadline for submitting information to 1:00 p.m. (Kyiv time) on 27 July 2026. This decision was made in response to the strong engagement of the research community and numerous requests from researchers.
Applications are submitted through researchers' personal accounts in URIS, where applicants can provide information on their research and innovation activities, including publications, research grants, patents, international collaboration, supervision of researchers, and other scientific achievements. The assessment will take into account research outputs produced during 2023–2025, while for researchers who are war veterans, achievements from the last seven years will be considered.
Following the submission deadline, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine will carry out the technical procedures required to support the verification of the submitted information. Based on the verified data, two rankings will be prepared: the General Researcher Ranking and a separate Young Researchers Ranking.
According to the ranking results, 2,650 top-performing researchers will be eligible to receive a state scholarship of UAH 10,000 per month for two years. A total of UAH 190 million has been allocated for these scholarships in 2026.
