Scientists are invited to participate in Kyiv City Accelerator 2026 — a programme aimed at identifying technological solutions to specific needs of Kyiv-based enterprises. Participants will have an opportunity to propose their own applied developments, test their potential for practical implementation, and launch pilot projects jointly with municipal enterprises.

The programme is implemented by ISE Group, Kyiv Academic University, and the Academ.City science park project. Startups and technology companies are also invited to participate if they have a ready-to-use product, MVP, or technology that can be adapted to the needs of municipal enterprises.

The programme is seeking technological solutions in the following areas:

• energy and energy efficiency;
• digitalisation and artificial intelligence;
• industrial automation and the Internet of Things (IoT);
• cybersecurity;
• urban infrastructure, transport, and logistics;
• FinTech and financial infrastructure;
• environmental and resource-efficient technologies;
• infrastructure security and resilience.

The programme includes the identification of technological challenges faced by enterprises, the search for relevant solutions, a hackathon, an acceleration programme, and the preparation and launch of pilot projects. Selected teams will also receive advisory support, including assistance with preparing technologies for implementation, European grant programmes, fundraising, and negotiations with potential partners and investors.

Key dates:

• by September 30, 2026 — applications accepted from research and technology teams and startups;
• October 2, 2026 — hackathon at the Column Hall of the Kyiv City State Administration;
• October 2026 — online acceleration programme;
• November 6, 2026 — Demo Day at the Column Hall of the Kyiv City State Administration.

For research teams from NAS of Ukraine institutions, participation in the programme may provide an opportunity to find practical applications for their own developments, test them in real-world conditions, and establish cooperation with municipal enterprises.
