Applications are now open for the 32nd Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition, which will work at the Akademik Vernadsky Research Station during the 2027–2028 annual mission. The competition was officially announced on 9 July 2026.

The National Antarctic Scientific Center (NASC) is seeking candidates for the following positions:

• Scientists (biologists, geophysicists, and meteorologists)
• Medical doctor
• Cook
• System administrator
• Systems mechanic
• Diesel-electric engineer

The selection process consists of several stages. During the first stage, applicants must submit the following documents to the National Antarctic Scientific Center:

• Application form
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Motivation letter
• Copies of educational certificates and employment record book (or equivalent employment documents)
• Copies of military registration documents (where applicable)

The application deadline is 7 August 2026 (by the end of the day).
