Due to the extension of the application period for the National Researcher System of Ukraine (NRS), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has enabled researchers to update information in applications that have already been submitted through URIS.
As the technical administrator of URIS, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (SSTL of Ukraine) has implemented the functionality that allows applicants to reopen and edit previously submitted applications. This enables researchers to review the information they have provided, make any necessary corrections or additions, and resubmit their application before the submission deadline.
Applications can be edited until 13:00 (Kyiv time) on 27 July 2026 through the personal account in the URIS system. To return to the application form, click the "Return to Editing" button in the "Available Actions" section.
The SSTL of Ukraine encourages applicants to carefully review the completeness of the information provided about their research achievements. In particular, researchers are advised to include information on:
Special attention should be paid to projects that won national or international competitive funding, received financial support, and were implemented during 2023–2025.
When compiling the rankings, research achievements from 2023–2025 will be taken into account. For researchers who are war veterans, achievements from the last seven years will be considered.
After the submission period closes, all submitted information will undergo verification. Based on the verified data, an overall ranking of researchers and a separate ranking of early-career researchers will be prepared. Researchers who achieve the highest positions will be eligible to receive state research scholarships.
