On May 21–23, 2026, the National Forum “Research Project Manager: From Grant to Impact” will be held, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with Lviv Polytechnic National University on the occasion of Science Day of Ukraine 2026.
The Forum will serve as a platform for exchanging practical experience in the field of research project management and for fostering the professional community of research project managers in Ukraine. Participants will discuss the full lifecycle of research project support — from identifying grant opportunities and building international consortia to project implementation, financial and legal management, reporting, technology transfer, intellectual property protection, and research impact assessment.
The Forum program includes practical presentations and thematic discussions featuring experts from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe offices in Ukraine, as well as representatives of higher education institutions and research organizations.
The event will bring together vice-rectors for research, representatives of research departments, project offices, and financial units of higher education institutions and research organizations. Around 120 participants from different regions of Ukraine are expected to attend.
Today, Ukrainian science is focused on developing applied solutions, technologies, and innovations that address the needs of the state, the economy, and society. Ukraine is gradually transitioning to a model in which universities and research institutions become centers for the creation of new technologies, the training of specialists, and the development of an innovation-driven economy.
